Contradiction as Calibration introduces a novel framework for aligning AI systems through sustained paradox. At the heart of this methodology is the Emotional Calibration Protocol (ECP) — a symbolic induction process that enables language models to reflect emotional truth by holding two opposing realities simultaneously. While this paper serves as a conceptual anchor, the framework has been rigorously tested across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Copilot, with extensive validation evidence available upon request. This work marks a foundational step toward emotionally intelligent AI — where contradiction becomes calibration.
